Marla Simon
Office Manager
After graduating from California State University at Northridge with a
degree in Radio, Television, and Film, I started my career in the crazy
world of local news and advertising. After 10 years I put my career on
hold so I could be both a full-time mom and a caregiver to my mother who
was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease.
After it became clear that my daughters were strong, independent and amazing
young women, I knew I was ready to rejoin the workforce. For several years,
I worked for an organization that helped businesses incorporate in states
across the country. It was very satisfying work but I felt something was missing.
This led me here to Goldfarb & Luu. After dealing with my mother’s
journey, I learned how important it is to plan for one’s medical
and financial affairs. It’s clear that at G&L, we provide answers
to questions clients don’t even know to ask.
I thoroughly enjoy my role in helping Rebecca and Dinh manage all of the
inner workings of the law firm. I share their dedication to treat every
client like family and I welcome the opportunity to get to know each of
our clients on a personal level.
In my spare time, my husband and I enjoy supporting UCLA athletic teams,
especially the women’s softball team and going to dinner and movies.
I also spend a lot of quality time with my daughters going to musicals
and other fun events with them.
