When we started Goldfarb & Luu in 2008, we learned about estate planning and elder law from the ground up. That’s right, we had never practiced this area of law before. We chose this area of law to make a powerful impact on everyday people. While we have many wealthy clients today, we are deeply committed to making sure that every client – despite your wealth – gets the same education and level of detail in your estate plan.
Wealth can make life and caregiving easier, but it doesn’t change the fact that we are all going to pass away, and most of us will become incapacitated before our passing.

We absolutely love giving back by teaching others about estate planning in a unique way. Because we learned from the beginning, we know how to teach from the beginning. We don’t make arrogant assumptions and we welcome all questions! Each one of our clients has taught us something about what they know well; we’ve worked hard to know the reality of estate planning and elder law really well!
Sadly, about 98% of estate plans we review have fatal flaws that our clients don’t know about. Through our education and collaboration, we are able to update (or create from scratch) plans that will accomplish a variety of goals, most importantly, they:
